The Constitution of The Foundation of Adonai
The Foundation of Adonai is an NPC, non-profit company, that focusses on providing vital comprehensive support systems for
disadvantaged children and their families affected by addiction. At The
Foundation of Adonai, we approach each situation with sensitivity and
uniqueness, acknowledging that every individual’s circumstances are distinct.
We firmly believe in the potential for growth, transformation and redemption.
Therefor, we do not judge parents solely on their past behaviors or
decisions. Instead, we focus on the present moment and work collaboratively
with them to address current challenges and develop strategies for positive
change.
We recognize that people are capable of change, growth, and development.
Our approach is centered on empathy, understanding, and support, rather than
criticism or condemnation. By doing so, we create a safe and non-judgmental
environment that fosters healing, reconciliation and reunification.
The purpose of the organization is to:
§ Provide a
safe and nurturing environment for children who have been separated from their
parents due to addiction-related issues
§ Offer
rehabilitation programs and services for parents struggling with addiction,
with the ultimate goal of reunifying families
§ Foster a
supportive community that promotes healing, growth and reunification between
parents and children
§ Address the
emotional and psychological needs of children who have experienced trauma and
separation
Mission Statement
The Foundation of Adonai is committed to breaking the cycle of addiction
and trauma by providing a holistic approach to healing and reunification. We
strive to create a safe, supportive and non-judgmental environment where
families can rebuild and strengthen their relation.
Objectives
The objectives of The Foundation of Adonai shall be:
§ To establish
a children’s home and rehabilitation centre that provides a comprehensive range
of services including counselling, education and vocational training
§ To development
and implement effective rehabilitation programs for parents struggling with
addiction
§ To facilitate
reunification between parents and children through counselling, mediation, and
support services
§ To promote
community awareness and education about the impact of addiction on families and
children
§ To
collaborate with relevant stakeholders, including government agencies,
community organizations, and healthcare providers, to ensure a coordinated and
effective response to the needs of our clients

Governance
The Foundation of Adonai shall be governed by a Board of Directors,
which shall be responsible for:
§ Setting the
overall strategic direction and goals of the organization
§ Overseeing
the management and administration of the organization
§ Ensuring
compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards
§ Approving the
annual budget and financial reports
§ Appointing
and evaluating the performance of the Executive Director
Membership
Membership in The Foundation of Adonai shall be open to individuals and
organizations that share our values and mission.
Amendments
The Constitution may be amended by a two-thirds majority vote of the
Board of Directors, provided that notice of the proposed amendment has been
given to all members at least 30 days prior to the vote.
In witness whereof, we, the undersigned, being the duly authorized
representatives of The Foundation of Adonai, do hereby adopt and enact this
Constitution as the governing document of our organization.
